One of the things I miss about living in Chicago. Would love to see these iconic photographs. The photo of Steve McQeen is priceless. There is a brief interview with Wasser and some of the photos are seen. Hefner, Mcqueen and others. The stories behind these photographs would be something else again.I did not realize he learned his craft from Weegee the famous photographer who shot gritty NYC crime scenes. RipleyThanks, some great stuff. Casual portraits of celebs more than Weegee's wonderful candids but the old master did make some impressions, huh?

ZSMICHAELI am happy to see others who are familiar with Weegee and Wasser. I used to love LOOK and LIFE magazine for the photos.
That photo is something else again. It captures the moment in a way that video would not.
