I enjoyed some of his movies a lot.

47 Ronin
Tekken
Mortal Combat
Rising Sun

To my recall, he was most recently in Blue Eyed Samurai.

Anyone else like him?

Ah, my fellow "Evil Asian." Yes, he will be missed. I also remember him as Don Johnson's lieutenant in the first couple of seasons of Nash Bridges, which was filmed right across the Bay from me.

I once saw a documentary about Asian-American actors called The Slanted Screen. They interviewed Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and asked him about how he usually played villains. He stated something like, "People say, 'How come you play bad guys so much?' And I say, 'Well, have you seen many Asian good-guy roles?' I was clear: 'I don't want to play businessmen with bifocal glasses and cameras, so if you're going to give me an Asian bad guy to play, then I'm going to give you the baddest Asian bad guy you've ever seen, and you're not going to forget that I was in the film.' He was great in The Man in the High Castle. He was also in the first episode of Star Trek The Next Generation during humanity's trial. Fun little bit of trivia there.

He was great in Rising Sun opposite Sean Connery. Very sad to hear of his passing.
