What a great show, at least the 1st season. I am revisiting this. I never saw it when it was on TV but a number of years later. It’s about an Irish Catholic family that lives in Philly in the 1960s. I was born in the 80s so O have no clue how accurate it is.
I’ll be as bold as to say the 1st season is one of the best TV series I have seen. I own the DVDs for season 1 and have been trying to find season 2 and 3 but my understanding is they don’t exist and there is no “legal” way to stream them anywhere. I read that the cost would be astronomical because of all the music rights since the show is based around American Bandstand.
When I bought the DVDs for season 1 I paid about $100 now they can be had for like $15 but season 2 and 3 are nowhere to be found.
Someone has put season 2 and 3 on YouTube recently so I am just now starting to watch them put quality is crap and I sure would like to watch them in good quality but the YouTube bootlegs will have to do however Season 2 Episode 9 and Season 3 Episode 14 are missing and I can’t seem to find those episodes. Curious as to why they aren’t there.
Anyone else enjoy this show??? I wish there were more wholesome family shows like this.

I, too, really like the show - at least season 1. I can't remember if it was season 2 or 3 but, to me, it really fell off in quality and I didn't bother to watch it anymore.
