maxwaynePatrick Henry "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death Speech"
This is a very well done reenactment of the famous speech. It even takes place in the same church.
The beginning includes a number of current people speaking and you might want to FF through that. The Virginia Governor gave a pretty good talk.

4MUL8RThe audience participation is inspiring. I need to go back on the actual anniversary.

TMatsTook me awhile. I soon learned that the debate leading up to Patrick Henry’s speech is important, and even if you skip forward at times, kinda necessary to understand what was happening in the Colonies at the time. To those discouraged by the length of the video, there are several dignitaries (including Governor Younkin) who can be bypassed completely. All in all, a rather inspiring re-creation of events.

born and raised in RVA, live in Chesterfield now, and sad to say I have never been to the speech,
have walked thru the church and over the church grounds many times,
and did go to an event where they had actors portray some of the notable folks buried there,
(went to a similar event at Shockoe Hill Cemetery once too, )

AUTiger89I took myself on vacation to Monticello, DC, and Colinial Williamsburg in 1996. Heard the park's Patrick Henry give that speech in person, and it was amazing.
