Have you played Fallout 4, or 76? How about Far Cry 3, 4, or 5?

These are all great games to just bomb around in.

Their main quests? Basically varying degrees of garbage.

The Far Crys, even more than the Fallouts, suffer from ABSOLUTELY AWFUL main quests, full of bullshit weapon-stripping "gotchas," ridiculous "plot twists," and retarded nonsense that may make you hate the main character and his compatriots.

Seriously, these are really fun sandboxy games, ruined by "attempts" at plot. I'm not even sure they were attempts, frankly.

I bet you guys can think of other games that suffer from this problem.

I'm really enjoying Fallout 76, by ignoring any semblance of plot. Far Cry 5 insists on plot progression, and it is terrible, but you can get through it and get back to ignoring it.
