I would like to have seen Bruce Dern or Clint do it.

Hey, this is my park, I live here! Who the fuck are you, walking through my park, carrying two bags? You got two bags, I don't got any, is that fair? What's in those bags anyway, huh? Give me one of those bags. I could sell those bags and eat for a week with the money. Come on, you got two of them, what do you need two of them for?
What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

This was a great flick, I have watched my BD many times. Robert Duvall was good as always.

I had seen the movie once maybe when I was in High School. Senior year I went on a school trip to Los Angeles ate an El Pollo Loco.
Get home and a day or so later Falling Down is playing on TBS/TNT don’t remember which but they would show the same movie like 4 times in a row starting at 8:00am on Saturdays. So I figured I would watch it. Hot Damn!!!! If it was not the El Pollo Loco I ate at just a few days earlier in the phone booth scene. Not Butt Cheeks when I was there though.

It's been a while since I've seen it and it is dark. But reading about it now tempts me to watch it again.

Yup. That is how I dressed for work. When we first saw the movie in a theater, my wife leaned over and said “This is scary. He dresses just like you.”

A couple of weeks ago I went to a Hardees only to find that their biscuit maker was out sick, so they said. Because almost all of their breakfast items are biscuit-based, they had almost nothing for breakfast, but would I like to order something from the lunch menu? I so felt like evoking this scene.
The same when bums accost me for money.

"No. How much?"

It was on a couple months ago and I watched the briefcase scene before I had to go do something. I should have watched the whole thing because I don’t see it streaming anywhere.

It’s a great, albeit very dark movie. I think it’s one of those movies that you appreciate in different ways depending on how much life you have personally swallowed. As a “kid” seeing this it was a pretty good dark/action comedy so to speak. At 52 it’s kind of a terrifying movie at its core because I’ve now seen how life grinds the best of us down and that could be any one of us. I would wager we’ve all had moments we were pretty close to FUCK THIS! Maybe not in a harm anybody way but in a I DONT WANT TO USE A GODDAMN APP!!!! Way. So to speak.

If you see my user name it was inspired by this movie.
I've seen this movie so many times I've lost count and can recite every line in the movie. My number 1 favorite flick just beating out Collateral.
My friends always joke that I'm like the main character Bill Foster and that I'm a upright law abiding citizen but if you push me too far I can snap just like in the movie.
Just announced they are releasing it on 4k which I'll definitely add to the collection and have a viewing party. I own it on every media except vhs got to source one off ebay.
With how messed up society is today vs back then in 93 when the film takes place im surprised we don't see people going off all the time.

Although very dark it's a great film. The first time I saw it was right after it came out in theaters and saw it for a first date, and I'll definitely say it's NOT the best date movie.. I'm pretty sure I have it on DVD, and now I want to dig through my pile and see if I can find it to watch tonight.
