But now I have to make a choice; interrupt watching Peaky Blinders (just finished season 2) to watch The Godfather?

I think I will...been wanting to watch The Godfather again for awhile.

I want AMC to release the Godfather Saga, parts 1&2 in order with a lot of cut scenes. It's awesome, and not to be found anywhere except once in a while when AMC plays it.

Is that the version where they cut the two movies together in timeline sequence?

I'd watch it again if it was on. Many years ago when I last saw it, I found the novelty to be distracting as I had seen the stand alones so many times I was anticipating upcoming scenes that did not come til much later.

On the other hand, I LOVED watching the added back scenes. I will sometimes spend time on YouTube seeking those out and watching them.

I have seen this once and it is the definitive version of The Godfather. To me, it makes too much sense for Coppola to release this in BluRay. As far as I know, it has only been available on VHS tape.
