Up through January 1st, 1970 you could hear how cool you were for smoking a variety if cigarettes. The next day, that changed. Keep in mind that seatbelts had only been required in new cars for a little over a year and they were only the basic lap belt. Amazing, we lived past childhood.

Police commissioners had wives that helped them solve crimes better than police force detectives.
