Sons of the Desert
Precode 1933 film starring Laurel and Hardy, a staple on the comedy front. Typical overbearing, contolling wives, and conniving spouses. A good laugh.

My favorite is the the one about selling Christmas trees in sunny California to the guy, who doesn't want to be bothered. The first time I saw that tit for tat retribution sketch, I was in pain from laughing.

They were a great comedy team. As I have grown more mature, I have really begun to appreciate them. They worked hard for a laugh. There were no stunt men, there were no stand ins, when Ollie fell off a roof, he really fell off the roof.

Because of that short I bought a boxed set. "Big Business" is the title. Loved that one.

Sons of the Desert is a classic.

My favorite scene a bit extended but the payoff is worth it.
