Caught a bit of the Stadia reveal video.
Is it going to crush the console market? I think the possibility is there if done right and the price is right.

LAG and Bandwidth limits will make this niche at best IMO.

Even a tiny bit of lag from button push to action will be maddening. Many carriers still have bandwidth limits as well.

Now there will be a huge push for this as there is a huge drive to eliminate physical media which I see as a negative personally because when “they” no longer want to carry your game/movie/music whatever it’s gone.
