So happy to see 'Allo 'Allo added to Netflix.

I've been enjoying them all week and haven't seen any of them since they origonally aired.


Though most people don't get the reference, for years whenever I use my Steiner's I refer to them as "mine powerful gestapo binoculars!"

Is this the comedy set in France during WW2 about the French Resistance?

Used to watch them back in the 80's. Brit comedy at its best.

Loved how they handled the languages in this show. The French speak English with a French accent. The Germans speak English with a German accent. And the British speak English with a British accent.... but they can't understand each other.

"Listen very carefully, for I shall only say this once!"

"What did she say?"
"I don't know - she only said it once."


I LOVE that show. I used to watch it while I was on crew duty in Alaska. I was laughing my butt off the whole time, but nobody else on the crew seemed to understand the humor of it.

A co-worker got me into that show. Very well done. I'm looking forward to watching it again. Thanks.
