LS1 GTOBecoming Led Zeppelin (on Netflix, by Sony)
This. Is. Great!
Even as someone who was not into the band until the last 20 years or so and really, fully, appreciating the complexity of thier sound, this is worth the watch
And i still have a copy of an original release of The Firm.

rizzleI was a big fan hearing their songs in the early 70's. Car stereos were getting more advanced and it was something to hear them move instruments from side to side.
Good memories for me.

0-0Haven’t watched it yet.
Saw their last tour with John Bonham in Brussels, In through the out door. Someone offered me a decent amount of money for my ticket (payed barely more expensive than the vinyl), enough to buy me a new integrated amp. 10 x what i payed. Tempting, but i declined.
That man could play the drums. I saw ELP, Genesis, Yes and other big names with great drummers (sadly missed Moonie the loonie). JB was a beast.
Still loving the band after all these years.

rizzlePlaying their songs on a Pioneer Super Tuner and Jensen speakers was jamming, the sound system would pretty much double the value of the rusted out Ford Pinto I was driving back then.

TMatsIt was interesting to hear about the session work that Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones did before the band was formed, especially to hear that they played on the most famous Bond theme of all, “Goldfinger” with Shirley Bassey.
