I can remember hearing about it and thinking Can't be, someone must have heard someone wrong and it giving bad information. I share it because I like this guy's channel and he deservers more viewers/followers IMO.

I remember reading the article in SI when it came out and thought it was great. I was already a fan of George Plimpton. He actually expanded the story into a book. I highly recommend it if you can find it in a used bookstore.
