Jim ShugartTales of the Unexpected
Nine seasons from the late 70s on. I watched a few of these when they were originally aired. They're ~25 minutes long and are available with Amazon Prime. There're lots of guest stars.
We've been binging and really enjoying the series.
Lamb to the Slaughter (Season 1 Episode 4) is especially memorable, where the victim was a cop and the murder weapon was a frozen leg of lamb which the investigating fellow officers ate.
Here's the IMDb link.

BigCityI believe that that episode was from a movie (Hitchcock maybe) that had Barbara Bel Geddes (Miss Ellie from Dallas) as the murderer.

Jim ShugartYes, it was also an episode from
Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Ronald Dahl, host of
Tales of the Unexpected, wrote the short story upon which it was based.
