Any members? I saw them three times in the 70's. Giving my 29 year old son a turntable and speakers for Christmas along with about 100 albums from the 70's.
I've asked him about kind of obscure bands like Judas Priest, The Outlaws, Yes, Allmond Brothers.
He knows them all, I couldn't be more proud!

I haven't listened to them in 40 years.

Ace Freeley and Steven Pearcy are playing at the local casino sometime in the next few days. I'm not going though, prefer to remember them in their prime days.

Agree, I've seen a few bands past their prime.
But they bring back good memories.

I do like the music but never really took to the theatrics.

I would not consider myself part of the Army so to speak but I’ve seen them 2 or 3 times in concert and once at Hammerjacks in Baltimore.

I’ve also seen Kiss and the Phantom Of The Park and Scooby Doo and Kiss Rock and Roll mystery and love the song don’t touch my ascot.

My very first real album (vinyl record, on a kids record player) was Unmasked.

The running joke with one of my co-workers is that he was a Green Beret in the KISS Army, then crossed over to the Navy and became a SEAL, did all his training on line during covid.

Been a KISS fan since their beginning. Some really great albums, some real sucky albums. KISS, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath make a big majority of music in my playlists.

I have an original Kiss Destroyer album still in the cellophane…prolly worth about $10.00, but priceless in my mind.

I don’t know that I’d agree the bands you listed are obscure, but I’ll concede the Allmond Brothers.

I saw Kiss in the early days when they opened for Black Sabbath at the Boston Garden. 1975 maybe?

Oh man, when Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park aired, it was parent-teacher conference night in 4th grade. I think it was a Saturday. God, I was so worried about not getting home in time to watch it.

Never got to see Kiss live. I had moved onto Van Halen long before I was old enough to go to concerts. But Gene and Paul came out to wave to the crowd from the side of the stage at the Monsters of Rock show at the Meadowlands. Saw Gene at NAMM a while ago and I ran into Chris Squire at the Rainbow about 10 yrs ago. He was sitting with Peter Criss, who took a photo of us. I was so starstruck to meet Chris, I didn't even care about meeting Peter. But when I was a kid, he would have been the much bigger star for me.

Never listened to the Allmond Brothers but the Allman Brothers were hardly obscure.

The bands aren't obscure to us old timers but ask your average person
in their twenties about bands from the seventies and they won't recognize
a whole lot of them. I was surprised my son knew most of them.

"New York City! You wanted the best and you got it. The hottest band in the land, KISS!"

I was part of the Kiss Army when I was a kid. Saw them at Madison Square Garden in 1976 when I was 12. Took the train into Penn Station with my brother. It was a great show and the ticket price was $8.50.

Kiss went little kiddie crazy soon after that (comic books, dolls, kids movies, etc.) and I soon lost interest. In my mind, they went from cool and edgy Kabuki Warriors to sellouts.

I still have their early albums, including "The Originals" {which included reissues their first album, Hotter than Hell and Dressed to Kill), Alive, Destroyer, Rock & Roll Over, and Love Gun.

Kiss Alive is one of the great Rock live albums.
