It shows Christians burning (one of them alive) as street lamps. I'd say that was the worst of it.

There's an old hymn, the words by James Russell Lowell, called "Once to Every Man and Nation". As a high school kid in the choir, this verse was memorable:

Supposed to take place in the period of time from Christ's resurrection to his ascension back into Heaven.
