The Cold War: What we Saw (Podcast)
Is anyone else listening to this podcast series by Bill Whittle. I'm really enjoying it. I was a kid when the Berlin Wall came down, so I didn't really live through much of the cold war. I find all the standoffs, bluffing, espionage, and technical achievements during this period fascinating.

First episode: You can also get it on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, and probably many others as well.

Oh yeah. Really interesting stuff, lots in there I didn't know (and certainly wasn't taught in school).
Bill Whittle's material is top notch. If you haven't seen Apollo 11: What we Saw, definitely take a look at that series as well.

I hate offended people. They come in two flavours - huffy and whiny - and it's hard to know which is worst. The huffy ones are self-important, narcissistic authoritarians in love with the sound of their own booming disapproval, while the whiny, sparrowlike ones are so annoying and sickly and ill-equipped for life on Earth you just want to smack them round the head until they stop crying and grow up.
