Saw the first screening locally last night. this is one of those Angel studio films, usually short run.
Buy tickets today and go see it, by a wide margin the best movie Ive seen post covid.

Black92LXLooking forward to this.
We’re Angel Guild members. Was planning to see it with the wife then take the boy if we felt it appropriate for him.
Any issues taking a 12 year old to see it? Not sure we’ll have time to catch it twice in the theater.

GraniteguyShould be OK for a 12-year old. Some war violence but most of it is muted to one degree or another. No nudity and minimal/no vulgarity.

ibandaSaw it last night and thought it was great. At a time when everyone wants to attack the American spirit, this movie celebrates it. There's plenty of room to make this into a trilogy, part 2 the revolutionary war and part 3 the whitehouse.
@Black92LX - I did notice it was rated PG13. There are a lot of battle scenes but they do not focus on close-ups of blood or gore. I think it would be okay for a 12 year old.

Given what the average 12 year old had to live through and experience in 1776, the movie will only affect the youngster in a most positive way. Go for it!

BigSwedeIt's cleaner than most crap on the tube
It's a great story, great scenery, costumes and props. I'll give it a 6 out of ten, it got a little slow at times

Black92LXJust got back from seeing this and enjoyed it quite well.
Angel Studios is really putting out some solid films.
Not sure if the previews are the same across the board but Drummer Boy and Hershey look like they could be quite good.

joel9507Saw this with my neighbor buddy this evening. I'm a history buff and thought this was both accurate and well done. Glad we went.

furloughSaw it today with a buddy. Very well done and much better than the crap being put out by Hollywood lately. Well worth your time!

charlie12We saw it today and really liked it. I really noticed that I didn't hear anyone in the theater talk during the movie.
Everyone should see it.
