I started watching "Southland" and I noticed the one detective's sister/daughter plays a detective on "The Rookie". Kinda got me thinking about actors I see in other, similar genre shows. Hondo's uncle(?) on "SWAT" is the head of....IA?...on "The Rookie".

In related news, I watched two really bad movies filmed in Morocco yesterday (Redemption Day and The Moderator) with virtually identical casts, including Robert Knepper and the black dude from the original CSI series. Morocco looks gorgeous, and I bet I could break into movies there.

ever watch any British TV? there seems to be a very finite selection of actors there
