I have no interest what so ever in Basketball at the pro level. The only BB I follow is at the high school and maybe local college. Given that, seeing the clips I have viewed of Miss Clark, I would absolutely go see her play at some point. She has burned some of the biggest trash talkers on the court and made it look effortless. I am impressed.

SShe is the subject of a massive amount of racism by the other players on other teams. They all hate her. Sometimes someone is the darling and gets the sponsors because of looks or in the moment. Clark can actually ball however. She is one of the best players in the league. I’m not going to go buy a ticket for that league (or the NBA because it’s soft as fuck with a bunch of diva crybabies) but I respect her.

Same here Citadel. I keep reading about her and decided to check out a couple clips and holy shit she is legit. Reminds me of Larry Byrd in her ability to read the floor/anticipate and pass. She is a real team player/motivator/leader too and down to earth person and OMG has a boyfriend .

They are upset because she is white and Angel Reese was supposed to be the new "it girl" in WNBA but she is a thug who thinks she is hot shit and can't hold a candle to Caitlin. There are videos of her intentionally missing easy shots to get the easy rebounds and up her stats.

I think we had at least one other thread revolving around the WNBA. I tuned into a couple of games last season that Indiana was playing in, just to see Caitlin Clark. One game was against Chicago, the team Reese plays for. Caitlin is indeed a good player and worthy of the attention she’s getting. The WNBA, and all its players, should be grateful for the attention she has brought to women’s basketball.

The league sucks. The level of play is piss poor. Open shots and free throws missed repeatedly. Blown layups. They’re just not good. I’ve seen pictures of Angel Reese acting as player’s representative calling for a strike for…more pay I suppose. She can’t be that stupid, can she?

I care just enough about WNBA to note that Ms. Clark does add a level of not just playing skill, but class to that organization.

I posted this awhile back, but this is game 5 in the WNBA Finals last year. Clark needs to be a lot better and magnetic to completely transform the league like Larry Bird did for the NBA back when it hit rock bottom. I have seen boys high school games 5X better than these women. Hell, I don't watch the NBA anymore because of poor play (and wokeness).

The last time I went to a live NBA game was in the old Boston Garden when it was Bird, Parish and McHale frontline plus Ainge and DJ. But it wasn't just Bird. Magic was a big part of the revival, too. I think they both knew the game needed something fresh and they provided it. Plus, there was nothing black/white about it. The unspoken goal was improving the league.

Not like the WNBA now where it's the thugettes vs Caitlin. Damn the success of the league! It's ALL about race.

When I was a kid, I thought he was funny and watched his show. As I got older and firmly into adulthood - say ~30 y/o - I didn't a middle-aged guy acting like a college frat boy was funny anymore. Cher was right when she called him an asshole to his face on his own show.

And she probably said it due to the fucking massive backlash on her. All those African-American women were out to get her, big time. And most of them are all about that woke/DEI bullshit train. BLM as well. What do you expect her to say? She wants to play basketball in a black dominated league and she is one of the best players, if not the best player in the league. She has been under so much heat going back to college. All those women judging the fuck out of her and she just wants to play, and would like to get some of that endorsement money. She isn’t a politician but at that level you have to play politics. Is what it is. Clark’s play is all that matters, her work on the court. She isn’t running for fucking office.
