Loved it! The Apostle and Tender Mercies are dandy Duvall flicks, too.

Duvall is one of the best . And my list of actors that fits that description is very short .

I enjoyed Secondhand Lions quite a bit. Duvall is on the same level as Eastwood as far as I'm concerned although Duvall does not direct as far as I know. Watched Lonesome Dove a week or so ago. Hollywood seems to be incapable of doing a sweeping epic like that anymore. Duvall has commented that Lonesome Dove, Open Range and Broken Trail is his personal movie trifecta that he feels are his best performances.

Since there is a lot about Duvall, did anyone see him Assassination Tango? Interesting flick, especially since he is a big fan of the Tango.

I love this movie and the tie-in to Bill Waterson / Calvin and Hobbs.

I did see that. I think he only made it because of his love for the tango. Plus, that was his wife playing opposite him.
