Predictable, but entertaining flick showing on Netflix by Netflix right now.
Chris Hemsworth cutting a bloody trail through some city in India rescuing a drug lord's kid. And a really hot Iranian chick to boot.

You're right. 100% predictable, but a good movie none the less.

Watched it yesterday. Thought most of the fight scenes were great, and liked the random kills for their "oh snap!" effect.
Seemed like there was a lot of shooting guys in the armor with handguns to punch them instead of putting it through unprotected parts. But maybe that's nitpicking a finger painting.
Was kali the primary fighting style or something else?

It wasn’t bad. It was highly predictable. Great BCM and Glock product placement.

Same here. I knew everything before it happened but still enjoyed watching anyway.
I liked the little slide rack using the vest.

Same. A bit predictable but enjoyed it compared to the typical Hollywood crap.

The ending is left up for you to decide what happened to him. Either there will be a series, or you decide if he died or not.

Watched it the other night and thought it was great. Holy crap lots of action, with a body count that has to rival any of the Wick movies. Choreography was excellent and very entertaining. Gun play I thought was also excellent and it was nice to see some rifle to handgun transitions multiple times. Chris Hemsworth is a great actor and it’s cool to see him in a more serious role.

I'm a sucker for any movie in which ANYONE gets close to using the sights/optics while firing a gun. This far surpassed that threshold and I thought it was a lot of fun.

Agreed...my impression was we were supposed to assume that was him standing there, correct?

The writers said in an article that depending on how the movie was accepted, they could make a series out of it or leave it as a one shot deal.

I wondered about that, but I can't imagine anyone falling into a river in India (in that urban sprawl) with that many open wounds and living to tell about it. LOL
And if by some miracle it IS him, he's gonna have a voice like Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne. LOL
A series would be awesome. I'm smitten with the Iranian woman, especially after she capped unincarcerated bad guy. This message has been edited. Last edited by: AllenInAR, April 27, 2020 12:00 PM

It was him. How else would the kid have known about the underwater meditation?

My takeaways...
1) Fuck yeah.
2) I want a karambit. It's trendy AF right now.
3) One handed malfunction drill, very cool to see on camera.
4) The world absolutely needs more 30 minute "one-shot" action sequences--even if it's not truly taken in one shot.
