This intro by fans has me more interested than any of the movies since revenge of the sith.
I reread them a few years back, no they are not as good as my young teen first read of them remembers but they are fucktons better than what we have been given.

ThIS. Filoni should've been the head from the very beginning. Kennedy should've been shuttered-off to make an Indiana Jones sequels.
Toss out Kennedy, Rejwan, and Kiri Hart, dissolve the Lucasfilm Story Group and make Leland Chee the new head of storylines and canon, get rid of Kasden who's best years was several decades ago, Marvel's Avengers got the Russo Bros, SW should've had Favreau steering the sequels ...there's more but, that's off the top of my head.

The worst thing about the last three movies is what could have been. It was a tragic waste of opportunity. Disney makes three Star Wars movies and they're bad to absolute garbage. That's exactly what I feared would happen when Disney took over, what a waste.

You are very right on this, with the Disney budget and resources they could have really done amazing things, but they just ruined the frnachise.
