Being from here, I've been to a lot of those places in the movie over the years. Almost all of it has changed.
South Shore Country Club still looks the same (the Music Venue)

95th St Bridge hasn't changed, and theres a GREAT fish joint right there! The smoked shrimp is out of this world.

KeystonerThis isn't corroborated anywhere but I was told, and always believed, that "orange whip" was code for beer, since John Candy was a cop and ordering for the other State Troopers, they couldn't outright order beers on duty.

Orange whip, also called Orange Julius was a Chicago thing. They had kiosks at all of the malls. OJ, in a blender with secret ingrediencies. There's also an alcoholic version with rum I believe. When I was in HS in the area, we'd have them when me and boys would cruse the malls looking for chicks. Don't know what version Candy was referring to in the BB movie.
