I've tried three different home made jobs.
( jar lids on a board )
and the like.
we have them , in the area, other people in the county have up to a dozen of them for most of the summer.
we get them for 4-5 days and then they take off

LS1 GTOHanging curveball seems to be what they like best. (Provided they know it's going to be served up of course.) SO as long as the feeder can serve those up, you should see lots of positive results.

UTsigI just use a nectar feeder, doubles for the Hummingbirds. I have it near where they nest in my Fan Palms. We have the Bullock Orioles, beautiful but skittish.

SigmundMy wife spotted a Baltimore Oriole at our back yard feeder today, first time ever!
For those of you in Rio Linda, it's a bird, not a professional baseball team.

The key to enforcement is to punish the violator, not an inanimate object. The punishment of inanimate objects for the commission of a crime or carelessness is an affront to stupidity.

sagemind100Orioles eat insects, especially tent caterpillars, and will eat live mealworms offered in a birdfeeder. Orioles will lap up nectar, but because of the size of their bill, it needs to be in a specialty oriole feeder that has ports bigger than those on a hummingbird feeder.
