I remember watching that a few years ago now. I forget what I was supposed to be doing, I just kept watching until it was over.

The 1938 movie is a remake of the 1930 version, which was then re-named as “Flight Commander”. I’ve seen both versions, and I prefer the 1938 one.

A favorite when I was a kid, back when war supposedly had romance, honor and style.

Late fifties, early 60's the Errol Flynn swashbucklers were often shown at kiddie matinees on Saturday mornings. The local Theatre often showed "Dawn Patrol" as well.

Even as a clueless kid I got the message on loyalty, doing the right thing, duty, honor, etc.
