2BobTannerThe 1938 movie is a remake of the 1930 version, which was then re-named as “Flight Commander”. I’ve seen both versions, and I prefer the 1938 one.

FN in MTLate fifties, early 60's the Errol Flynn swashbucklers were often shown at kiddie matinees on Saturday mornings. The local Theatre often showed "Dawn Patrol" as well.
Even as a clueless kid I got the message on loyalty, doing the right thing, duty, honor, etc.
