Tooky13I’ve decided to stop watching trailers…
Like P220 Smudge mentioned in the Whiplash thread, the trailers can really be spoilers. I just watched the trailers for the new Reacher and Shogun, both 2-3 minutes long, and they must show half, or more, of the best scenes. I’m already going to watch them, so I’ll wait and see them for the first time when I watch the whole series.

AugenAgreed. Had to stop them after 15-30 seconds to not spoil the movie.
Can’t recall the one I saw recently but it showed main characters being killed. Ok, that’s just saved me money and time I suppose.

P220 SmudgeYeah, watch a trailer for any movie you've seen and tell me there's not a clip from the climax or resolution to the film. Most, if not every last one of them do.

Hound DogTrailers Always Spoil. . .
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pm.../TrailersAlwaysSpoil That's the slippery slope - they have to show SOME good stuff in the trailer to get people to see the movie, but then they often spoil some of the best scenes.
I can't think of any recent examples. I look forward to seeing the Songbirds/Snakes movie and the new Ghostbusters. I didn't see any of the trailers often or closely enough to see if there were any major spoilers (I read the Songbirds book, so I do know what happens there).
