First three episodes are out.
Be warned: You may not enjoy the first few minutes of the first episode.

Due to gun hating or rainbow signalling?

Must be political then. I figured maybe it was anti-gun because Eric Kripke has been mighty critical of us gun toting maniacs in at least one interview I've seen.
Yet he keeps making shows with tons of gun play. Typical.
Still plan on watching the show, so I guess I'll find out what the deal is.

Yeah, pretty raunchy beginning, but a good episode.
I have liked this show. It certainly can be raw, but it is fun.

Nope. 99 more guesses and you still won't get it.
Episodes in there is some liberal projection about "gun nuts" and systemic racism even with the superhero world.

I believe the first scene, season one in episode one is the nerd watching his girlfriend getting vaporized by token flash
That was pretty much in your face

I loved the part where they're discussing who's going to win the gameshow and Ashley's reaction to the possibility of Silver Kincaid being chosen: "But, she's from...Af...ghan...is...stan..."

I'm done with the show. I tried hard to like it but just like Walking Dead, it's just a contest to see how gross of a scene they can put on the screen and how emotionally fucked up they can make things. That and the teenage drama bullshit between Starlight and Huey or whatever his name is where they are incapable of communicating like adults in a relationship nicely tied the "fuck this shit" bow off.

No the opening scene is basically a recap of every gory, horrible death to date on the show.

It's entertaining to me. I tolerate some of the bullshit but it has some decent gory kills and I think Karl Urban and Antony Starr are great in their roles. Needs some more female nudity.
"But, as luck would have it, he stood up. He caught that chunk of lead." Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock "If there's one thing this last week has taught me, it's better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it." Clarence Worley

Well, I think I guessed correctly, for me anyway, on the first go. Not going to spoil it with specifics, but felt like a hole-in-one.
I skipped the intro, so I am referring to the first few minutes of the actual episode.

Some pretty sick stuff the first few minutes. The "woke" anti-2nd Amendment crap that follows that episode is kinda surprising considering the ongoing theme that our government is colluding with a private corporation to violently suppress it's citizens. Yea, those gun toting rednecks teaching kids about firearms safety and their importance in guaranteeing liberty....!

Well, as expected, they've taken the various zeitgeist issues of current day, and cranked it up to 11. The gun show dig isn't too bothersome, that's been a common trope for a long time amongst Hollywood; could we see Homelander start tearing heads off of militant-Left wing protestors, we'll see.
