After watching first episode of Season One I was ready to call it quits. It's set in Sweden in mid-40s with subtitles. Stayed with it and now we're hooked. Great mix of characters, very well acted and produced, with enough plot variations to keep your interest.

Usually avoid movies with subtitles but now we don't even notice it.
