Because this is a Stallone screenplay and David Ayer movie, I consider this a B+ category movie. A bunch of hollow characters committing violence in what feels like an Eastern Europe movie, even though it's based in Chicago.

Despite the above, I liked it a lot more than The Beekeeper. One of the things I liked most is that the "damsel in distress" is actually competent and defends herself well when given an opportunity.

It was a Jason Stathom movie. Thats it. That all you need to know about it. Great fun if you go into with low expectations.

I generally like Jason Statham movies, and I also like Michael Peña. We watched it. It was aww-i-ight.

Statham works hard in the film industry, he's in plenty of his own and some franchises like Fast and Furious and Expendables.

Working man and Beekeeper were typical of Statham with lots of violence and a barely noticeable plot.

the Mechanic and transporter series started off fairly believable then poof off into fantasy land.

The Bank Job was actually a decent movie with believable characters and plot.

If you want pure crazy stupid, violence then dial up Crank... F You Chelios!
