Le Mans … :’)
Watching the race for 24 hours. Anybody else?

"Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay - and claims a halo for his dishonesty."

I've been watching it off and on all day. For years it was LMP1,LMP2,
GT1, and GT2. What the hell is a Hypercar?

I tried to watch, just couldn’t really get into it. There has to be a better way to broadcast this iconic race, some way to give the tv audience a better feel for what is happening.

Hypercar has replaced LMP1 as the top class with rules and costs packages to get current Hypercar manufacturers like Ferrari and McLaren into the sport.

And as much as I love LeMans, I cannot tolerate the trash coverage from EuroSport that we get over here. I really wish NBC could get WEC coverage like they have the IMSA Weathertec Series. I'd even put up with Peacock to get full coverage on this.

Gentlemen Driver in an LMP Corsa sideswiped the Corvette and ran it off the road. Interesting that Corsa also had entries in the GTE Pro class.

All night the Porsche dominated that class, the Corvettes challenged only when pits came up so they could get a better P.. Still good racing, mostly clean, few cars retired early.

GTE Pro is gone anyway, next year GT3 class, so lots more manufacturing companies may field cars making it a bigger class than LMP potentially.

Hypercars are super fast,

Talk of getting rid of the Gentlemen drivers, problem is, they pay for the sport, so they get to demand a ride.

Can't see Carrol Shelby ever letting the Deuce take a lap LOL but it's the norm now.
