0-0Album cover art: The iconic covers, your favorite, etc
Borrowing from bendable’s thread idea, let’s hear /see what are the covers / art that you have as iconic. Either as art or as representative of a band / period, you name it.
Guess my # 1 is The Beatles Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
# 2 Pink Floyd Dark Side of The Moon
# 3 Emerson Lake and Palmer Giger’s album cover
# 4 Sex Pistols Anarchy in the UK
% 5 Velvet Underground A. Warhol Banana cover (never listened to it
# 6 Yes Tales of Topographic Oceans
# 7 Eagles Hotel California (One of these nights is my personal favorite album cover)
# 8 The Clash London Calling
# 9 The Rolling Stones Stick fingers
# 10 The Who Tommy
Most of these clearly show my age

DidlsI agree with most of those but a top 10 list would have to include Abbey Road.

Me, I honestly would include every Beatle album starting with Rubber Soul, they were the ones that broke the "rules" when it came to album covers.

smschulzOne thing is that is is true "art" and individual to the artist, their time in history and adapted to their personality.
So many unique great ones.
Some great ones are controversial too like the Blind Faith cover.
Maybe a bit NSFW
