AMC premiered a new 6-part series last night. Has potential I think, but you have to watch it as lots of French language spoken but with subtitles, unless you speak it yourself.

“Twenty years after the events of the novel "The Maltese Falcon," Sam Spade has retired in the small town of Bozouls in southern France; it's 1963, the war has ended, and in a very short time, so, too, will Spade's tranquility.”

Recorded it, but haven’t watched it yet. I do like Clive Owen (thought he would have made an excellent James Bond), but not sure how setting it 20 years later and in France is going to work out.

I think it looks interesting after the first part.
