My wife found it and we binged it all today. No spoilers but it never went off the rails as I had feared. J.K. Simmons and Sissy Spacek do a great job.

Well I mean, the premise is not ordinarily one I would go for either. I think the actors do a fantastic job and that was enough to get me started watching, and then I was invested. Beyond that, I found it interesting in exactly the same way a twilight zone episode would be.

I watched this series and it was just ok. Too much talking and not much action for my taste.

Wouldn't make my "drop everything to watch" list but it's on my rotation and is, as hberttmank said, okay.
