Director Ivan Reitman passed!
Loved many of his movies, but the Ghostbusters trilogy are my favorites.

We are all sprinting towards the finish line and it's coming up fast.

Good lord I didn't realize Ghostbusters was in 1984.

"Animal House" in 1978 was the first of his works that I remember seeing. For a ten- or twelve-year period after that one, everything he touched (or inspired) could brighten up a cloudy day; and make money at the box office.

That's sad news. I liked so many of his movies but I think Stripes, 1981, was my favorite.

Rest in peace, Mr. Reitman.

Indeed sad. Harold Ramis passing level bummer. R.I.P. Mr. Reitman. I certainly enjoyed your works.

Comedies certainly aren't made like they used to, Hollywood could use a lesson on Reitman's work.
