Why can't Star Fleet build a starship that doesn't have a catastrophic failure for just about no reason? It gets really old hearing "helm controls are not responding".

What started the fire, as in "Nick, Heath Jared! the barn's on fire!"? Cool

How could any of the Private Investigators glance in their rear view mirrors and immediately differentiate between someone who is tailing them and someone who's just going their way?

"Dallas" 1986 season. Bobby Ewing dies in an accident, and is written off the show. He's gone. Dead.

But then at the start of the next season, it is revealed that his "death" only occurred in a dream of his significant other, Pam Ewing.

Did the writers plan this clever (even brilliant) scheme all along, or after Bobby's death, did they realize they screwed up, and had to bring Bobby back for the sake of ratings?

Didn't Bobby's death also impact Knott's Landing?

That sounds like my laptop when I open several large MS Excel files Wink (and I'm running an i7 processor w/24 GB RAM).

and why does a hit on the nacelle or secondary hull cause the panels to blow out on the bridge?

why are red shirts the only victims?

why do the aliens all speak English? if the universal translators are working correctly, should we not also hear the voice in the language, and a translated voice as well?

Because they keep trying to integrate Microsoft on the Bridge, Apple for propulsion, and Lynux for comms.

Like dividing be zero, but different

The Rifleman

Sometimes cocking chambered a round and sometimes cocking fired a round.

How did Lucas McCain know in advance whether to have the trigger-trip thingy on or off, and how come we never see him adjusting it?

I never watched too carefully, but I assumed he was holding the trigger back when he cocked it, and it fired. Not sure if that makes any sense because I don't know lever actions that well.

Their looks. Housewife with kids probably not a tail. Souped up car, guys with hats and mean looks probably a tail. No time in the show for series of left and right turns.

There was nothing to adjust. What pushed the trigger was a bolt set into the triggerguard/cocking lever.

The hammer didn't trigger if he didn't close the lever all the way

How did Mannix survive over 50 concussions? (He was hit over the head in almost every episode.)

Why did Daniel Boone walk everywhere? He took cross-country trips not only on foot, but with nothing more than his rifle and a small "kit bag," never on a horse.

On the original Lost in Space, where exactly did they store the "Chariot"? It was bigger than the damn spaceship!

Why didn't Fred Flinstone just jump in the side open window like the saber-tooth cat did, instead of pounding on the (apparently locked) front door yelling for Wilma?
