Cool.
Funny George & D Destroyers story.
George was scheduled to play at the Hampton Casino in Hampton NH several years ago. (I think it was 04)
Anyway - the night before I am with so co-workers at a local Inn/Bar (Lamies/Old Salt) and George comes down and plays for a small bar audience for 90 minutes. Great performance.
The following evening he plays in concert for 45 minutes at the Club Casino and calls it a night !!!!

Great! I've been exploring Thorogood's works the past few mornings on Apple Music. Amazing that I had not discovered him before. The only song I was really familiar with was his signature Bad to the Bone. But he is an amazing mix of blues and early rock (stuff like Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, et. al.). Fantastic performer.
When in doubt, mumble

We referred to him/them as GFT in college. He played at VA Tech but I did not see the show.
What I find interesting is I've secretly thought "Rio" would be an outstanding and unique name for a girl for decades (but not for my girl, my wife let me name my son so she picked our daughter's name)...

I saw him with the Destroyers, once, a long time ago, and it was a good show. Don’t want to be a hater, but Rio is just adequate as both a singer and a guitar player.

Always liked bluesy rock. George is solidly there.

True, but....
She sings better than me (not hard to do) and I couldn't hit some of those chords if I tried. So, I'll give her kudos for getting up there and working it.

And to pile on a tad, is it me or is she slightly off key too?
