Probably wont make it to the theatre here. They tend to play the kiddy shit that draws in families. I haven't seen anything R rated there in years. I don't fault them for sticking to what sells, but I also don't watch cartoons anymore. Next nearest theatre is an hour drive, so I'm probably waiting on Blu-ray.

I'll also agree the second movie was kind of a let down after the first. Still own both, but I haven't rewatched either.

Saw it last night with my sons. We loved it. Great fan service, LOTS of digs at Disney and Fox, it was funny and it treated a lot of characters to an ending they deserved.

Will pay to see again with my boys and wife (this time, she elected to sit opening night out, her loss).

Excellent, laughed much more than I had expected...the cameo's were fun (a few I did not recognize) and a few plot holes I didn't understand...but overall fun, entertaining, and worth going back for another viewing. Credits are worth watching to see who the cameos were, and a HUGE nod to the late 90's action star who made an unexpected appearance and now I want to see another movie from that person!

Only character Reynolds does - regardless of the movie.

TBH - I like the way he does Deadpool and will watch this when it hits the streaming circuit.

Saw it last night. Loved it especially the opening fight scene. Perfection.

The bait & switch cameo - if you know you know - along with the post-credits scene were sublime.

It was great to see Hugh and the mask looked awesome.

Would watch again.

The girlfriend wanted to go see this earlier today. It was WAY better than I expected.

I have only seen about half of the MCU stuff released since Endgame, and was ambivalent to most of those. Even the two prior Deadpool movies were decent-to-good but not great, in my book.

This is by far the best Deadpool film, and one of the better Marvel films overall. It has actually good dialogue at points, and more genuine heartfelt moments than the other Deadpools. And the action scenes are very solid. Especially the ones featuring Wolverine. Hugh Jackman knocked it out of the park in this film. Not as good overall as Logan (probably my favorite Marvel film), but an extremely fitting finale to his embodiment of the character for the past 25 years.

They take a lot of digs at Disney/Marvel, and even a few blatant shots at the woke crowd. There's zero far left/LGBTQ preaching here.

And it's packed with tons of in-jokes, cameos, and easter eggs. I'm sure I missed quite a few of them that the more hardcore Marvel nerds would pick up on.

One note is that you really do need to be at least halfway familiar with the Loki streaming series in order to understand what's going on in this film with stuff like the TVA and The Void. So if you haven't seen that, you may want to watch at least the first season of that before going to see D&W, or at a minimum find and read one of those "Here's what you need to know before seeing Deadpool & Wolverine" articles.

Also, a trailer for the new Alien film (Alien: Romulus) ran beforehand. It looked much more true to Alien/Aliens than the last two attempts (Prometheus and Covenant). Plus, they're bringing back pulse rifles!

Had a Deadpool marathon today and then went to the show. We laughed so hard that I’m sure we missed about half the jokes.

Packed theater, and everybody loved it. We’re so starved for actual entertainment that doesn’t take itself so seriously.

I think it hits all the right notes. And holy shit, Ladypool.

I have no idea how Hugh Jackman made it through any of that movie with a straight face. He spends the whole thing telling Wade to “shut the fuck up”. It’s awesome.

All the digs at Disney made me howl.

This was a movie where you can tell everyone enjoyed making it and it shows.

It was also a perfect Deadpool movie where you could nitpick it apart if you want, but you're missing the point. It knows exactly what kind of movie it is and doesn't pretend to be anything else.

It was also one of the goriest movies I've seen as well as one of the raunchiest, so if you've got kids wanting to see the movie, be advised.

Saw it yesterday on $5 Tuesday. I have to agree with the comments above, but it was incredibly entertaining!

As with all Marvel films, you have wait until the credits are done for the "real" final scenes -- well worth wait! Since the credits were running, I actually read them for the cast. Going in, I had no idea I had no idea of the number of cameos in the film. Since many of them were dressed as some version of Deadpool -- (Lady Deadpool was Ryan Reynolds wife, Blake Lively) -- you would have no idea!

This a film you need to see in a theater. Even on a large screen, I know I missed lots of stuff!

Super fun movie.

There is literally like ONE gay joke. ONE!!!!

Remember the days of yore when we could all make fun of each other and not run crying to our safe spaces. FFS how many straight, white dad jokes are there these days and you know what some of them are funny as hell too.

Anyhoo…fun flick. Nothing more nothing less and that is what I want from my popcorn entertainment.

Whomever played “She-Hulk” whatever that shit is, the actress is whining that she wasn’t in it. And she is bitching about the one “gay joke”, and just complaining in general.

Brie Larson, has also come out and complained that her scenes were cut. Reynolds had some kind of control over this whole thing and it was his call to cut her scenes. He’s cutting them from the extended cut due on disc/streaming and she is pissed and bitching now.

So other Marvel actors (actresses) are losing their shit because this is making bank and they aren’t part of it. Razz
