Netflix, Zero Day
I'll admit, I am not much of a De Niro fan, between his off screen antics, and what seems to me to be a singular character, in most of his roles,

wife and I watched Zero Day,

and liked it

short series, maybe 6 episodes,

worth the watch,

I am two episodes in and so far it is good.

De Niro put me off watching it, but I'll probably end up doing it anyway.

Here's to the sunny slopes of long ago.

^^^ That's been my reason for hesitation as well.

I can usually look past the politics of a person, but DeNiro is a POS I would rather not support in a way.

I couldn't stop laughing when they revealed "madame President."

It's not a serious show, in my opinion. They take a perfectly valid premise and then they twist themselves into knots making stupid people look smart, like Bobby D.

Gonna let the wife watch the rest of the season while I work on my car.

I watched it because I found the concept interesting. I did also find it to be a bit woke, though not unbearably so.

I agree. I refuse to enrich the coffers of people like him with my money.

I agree. I used to enjoy his movies but can't even stand his older ones now. It is amazing at how narcissistic some people can be.

Yeah, he has gone above and beyond your typical Hollywood liberal idiot.

No way for me.

Wife and I got halfway in last night. Not going to call it good, but I guess we're committed now.

Finished the last episode last night. We both thought the plot was very timely and the acting was very good. You just have to get past Deniro in real life.

My wife and I enjoyed it well enough to watch it through. I had to laugh, though it was entirely predictable, that the former POTUS's daughter/congresswoman named some possible culprits of the attack - Russia, I believe the NorKs, and of course, "neo-Nazis." Are they even a thing? Leftists would have you believe "neo-Nazis" are such a threat, even though you could count them on about two hands. No mention of our no. 1 enemy, the ChiComs - wouldn't want to upset their masters.
