Yeah, well, that ought to be easy for a genuine son of a bitch.

One of my favorites.

Every time I watch it I get a new line that I haven't paid attention to before.

I love the writing, it's gritty and you can feel the pain of the characters as the lines are delivered. Always love the line "I never planned anything in my life," in response to their accolades about how he fooled the guards with his "act."

There are two movies I will always watch and have watched many times. Not because they just happen to be on but because I can get excited about watching them every single time. Cool Hand Luke and Jeremiah Johnson. You look at those two films and look at the mindless junk put out today and it's a sad reality.

Finally got it on DVD, and am watching yet again. I never cease to be amazed how good this is. Every scene, every line of dialog. Whenever I think about watching it, I think, I don't know; I've seen it plenty of times; am I really in the mood? And then I put it on, and I can't turn it off. Definitely in my all-time top ten.

The car washing scene is the reason my M-14 is named Lucille. Anything built like that...

One of my personal observations in life when work is tough is:

We:
"need to keep shaking that bush boy."

then what I think after that is:

"I'm just gonna keep pulling that string."

I don't even know if that is in the movie... I read the book about 3 times while in high school...

You can include as many good looking people as you want , or. You can include all kinds of catch phrases , and have exceptional filming abilities.

But the story that is told is the one thing that makes this the eternal solid motion picture production.

I pity the fool who trys to remake this masterpiece

Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency.
