They have to do something unpredictable. Killing off almost everyone would do it.

I think the question to answer is "Who will kill Cersi?"

(1) Arya - she's had motivation for a long time and has LittleFinger's face.
(2) Jamie - the redemption story.
(3) Sansa - she wouldn't do the deed herself or go south to try
(4) Tyrion - possible.

Also, considering they made a point to have Bron get paid by Cersi to kill Jamie and Tyrion, one of them has to live to pull that thread. Tyrion is always "paying double", so we'll see how that goes.

Lots of lines to tie up. The Mtn knowing who was coming for him, Varis & Red Woman, etc, etc.

About a million ways it could go.

I would say Bronn doesn't give two popcorn farts about Cersei, despite the chests of gold he was given. He'll probably see the s*it-storm unfolding in Winterfell and join in the fray. Kinda poetic justice, since "Bronn" and "Cersei" dated in real life, so this is a way for the writers to allow Jerome Flynn to metaphorically give a little smack down to Lena Headey.

Read some theories where people think the girl that Davos told to protect the crypts (the one with the grayscale scar) is actually Melisandre. They think she will be the one to kill the night king.

I know that lady stoneheart isn’t part of the TV series but in the books when they find Lady Stark after the red wedding Thoros says that she has been dead to long for him to bring her back. Beric then ask the Lord of light to bring her back and kisses her I believe. Beric dies and she comes back to life.
