Holy smoke. If you want to see some good acting, this flick is for you. See it with your girlfriend/wife if you can, but have a box o' tissues handy. For her, I mean.

Agreed, Hamnet is quit good. After seeing Jessie Buckley in that and The Bride, I'm very impressed.

Hollywood agrees, Buckley just won the Oscar.

Jessie Buckley deserved the best actress Oscar.

I didn't see most of the other movies, I understand they did the Hollywood thing and gave best picture to the most woke movie they could find.

Is it free somewhere? Or need to pay / subscribe to something?

One Battle After Another was not a woke movie. It wasn't a great movie, either. It is probably not the worst Best Picture ever but it is not a great film.

It requires either a Peacock subscription or a rental from your streaming provider of choice.

(It just left theaters. No recently released big studio film is going to be free to watch anywhere. It will always require either buying/renting a digital copy or a paid subscription to whatever service holds the streaming rights.)

Got it. Thanks. Geez, I realize I have no idea what's playing in theaters these days. I can't name a single film.

I'll just keep an eye out for it - someday perhaps it'll be offered free on one the streaming services of choice.
