He and Mike are both from around here, Frank lived in LeClaire IA, about five miles east of me. He had been ill for a while.

Fritz's co-host Mike Wolfe shared the news in an Instagram post Tuesday morning:

HRKShame, they had a great show, watched it from time to time just to see what they'd find, and that both are motorcycle nuts, those shows were great.

Rey HRHThat guy. I didn't know which one. I thought he lost a lot of weight for health reasons? Definitely young at 58. I hope he enjoyed life before he died.

StarTravelerI enjoyed the show and loved Mike and Frank's stories about items as well as their banter with each other and the sellers.
I was glad to read that they had reconciled from their falling out of a few years ago before Frank's passing. He was way too young.

cuttndryWhat a shame - grew up on this show. Loved the dynamic between Mike and Frank and I still think of them every time I see an Indian bike.

Frenchy1004From what I read online, he had a massive stroke a few years ago and was left with permanent impairments: needed a wheelchair, unable to speak as a result.
Very sorry to hear this news and hope he is at peace now and getting ready to pick in heaven.
