Rome was great. See the whole series maybe 3 times. The Wire is still the best ever, but it is dated. Getting very dated. Actually knocks it down a bit. Rome was historical so not a factor. GoT is right up there too of course. | |||

My favorite character on Rome was the town crier, all the arm movements and way he'd read news and proclamations was just great! Think I tried to watch it once but didnt make it far. I will have to try again when I finish Black Sails. The Wire is the best thing ever on TV, imo. And I personally don't think it's dated. Watched it all the way through again last year. Season 1 True Detective is also up there very high. There ain't much difference in the man I want to be and the man that I really am. | |||
