My biggest and best memory of this movie is how got damn hot Carrie Fisher is in it. When she was young, one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen in my life. I mean she is fully clothed, holding a rifle, and my retinas are burning.

Tell me the truth. I'm an old man. I don't like to watch a movie and not laugh. Also I don't want to offend the Mrs. But Carrie really hot, huh? Huh.

5:59 of Carrie Fisher in The Blues Brothers, just because. Got the urge to run out and get a DVD of the full movie.

I guess you’ve never seen Return of the Jedi and her in that got damn bikini. She was a weapon in the late 70’s and early 80’s.

“No, I didn't. Honest... I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts! It wasn't my fault, I swear to God!”

I was at the Star Wars section of Magic Kingdom last week and hung out there for an hour. I realized I don't really like Star Wars movies except for Princess in a bikini.

I immediately thought of this line. Why this line?
Then I remembered someone posted some time back the background to this line.

"The epitome of a throwaway line, here Elwood and Jake’s trip upstairs to Elwood’s sh*thole hotel room is interrupted by the bark of a man affectionately know as The Cheez Whiz. Who is he? In the realm of the film, he’s just a dude who likes pasty cheese who is good enough to Elwood to warrant a favor, but in life he was Layne “Shotgun” Britton, a makeup artist to stars like Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and Belushi."
