Plex - free live tv for the next 3 months

I just got an email that Plex is offering free live tv for the next 3 months. I don’t know if that only entails naked Japanese sumo wrestling or what, but it’s worth checking out for the cord cutters amongst us.

Download the Plex app on your Roku or fire stick.

Haven’t looked into it further..

I just downloaded the app on our Roku. You have to set a password and I did. I fished around in there for about 5-10 minutes and saw nothing anywhere that indicated a category 'Live TV'. My guess is you have to click on any of the thousands of tiles to eventually see if you can get it without any further....whatever. And that's where I'm at with it. Whatever.

It's already been deleted from our Roku.

If you have a Plex server you can add a TV tuner to your network, connect it to Plex, and then record OTA TV or steam OTA TV. This is normally a paid feature (you must pay for a 'Plex Pass') but they're making it free for now.
