We binged the first season along with a couple other shows that are only on AppleTV. Glad it has another season underway, but I've let AppleTV lapse for now so I'm going to wait until they are all available for streaming.

Agree, slow start but picking up nicely.

We watched the first season and are doing the same now, but it's more for laughs than anything else. Can you get more woke? The all encompassing theme that kids are soooo much inherently smarter than older/experienced adults feeds into the superiority many of the younger viewer appear to feel. Superiority based upon....?

not sure I would say woke,

more like lets add some Harry Potter type school kids, (they went all lord of the flies for a bit when the bus crashed, and how did all of them survive that drop?)

I'll add that I like the way they did the aliens. As in, without similarities to anything else.

Just started binge-watching. It does start a little slow as mentioned, and the writing is not the best, but not the worst either (anyone remember NBC's La Brea?) We'll see how far I make it...

Incidentally, wajo means "Japanese-style castle", but this way of saying it specifically refers to the castles built by the Japanese in its invasion of Korea, which explains its tie-in to the series.


ETA: the writing got a lot better later in the season.
