| An excellent actor; Mr. Chamberlain also starred in the epic Shogun mini-series back in 1980.

Partial dichotomy
| I'm sorry to hear this. I enjoyed him in Shogun and The Thornbirds.

| I am watching him as the original Jason Bourne in "The Bourne Identity" on YouTube. I consider his 1988 mini-series to be far superior to any of the Matt Damon versions. Thank you for the many enjoyable hours of film and tv entertainment, Mr. Chamberlain.

Live long and prosper

| Thought him long gone, i’m surprised. Watched hundreds of hours of Dr. Kildare in my early days but had completely forgotten him as main character. I was too young. Do remember liking him as Anjin San in Shogun. RIP Richard. 0-0

| Was watching an old 30 minute black and white "Gunsmoke" episode awhile back, and one of the minor cowboys up to no good looked familiar; yep, it was Chamberlain! Appreciated his work in the earlier "Bourne Identity", "Shogun", "Centennial" miniseries, and those 2 Musketeer films (the best film telling of that story). He was nearly 91; had a good long run, family who cared about him and a fairly quick end; one could do worse. |
