Predator Badlands
I didn't think it was a bad movie, but I also think any of us Gen X or older are in for continual disappointment with future movies of this nature, we aren't their audience anymore

It was on special so I bought it. I think people shouldn’t think of it as a Predator movie but rather a classic sword and sorcery quest movie set in a Predator milieu.

In that framing, it’s quite entertaining.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Yeah it wasn’t as bad as it was made out to be but it’s not a “predator” movie so to speak. Like above it’s more “D&D” quest then anything else and it’s fairly entertaining in that guise.

If you are looking for a Predator movie, however, this ain’t it. Watch Prey instead which was a quite good Predator flick
