I’m a huge Eastwood supporter, I will go see this. Just read an article today that said this is his best work in 25 years.

I'm definitely in. I've seen the previews a few times and have been looking forward to it.

I didn't realize it had been that long since he had a full acting role, but I guess it has.

We went to see it with my family for my birthday.

It's a very different movie than others he's made and if you knew anything about the movie going in you had an idea how it was going to end up but I have to say I really enjoyed it and thought the acting was very believeable.

Some of the lines in the movie were classic Eastwood...

Well worth the time. Go see it.

Never been to see a movie alone but think I’ll hit the theater on my day off this week.
I really want to see it and who knows when the wife and I will get a chance to go see a movie together and I am sure this will no longer be showing.

Saw it last night and thought it was solid. Typical Clint film and that means a solid film. Some nice racial slurs (Gran Torino-esque) but what I liked even better was the multiple digs about people and their got damn phones. I clapped on one of those and someone yelled out “yeah!” On another one. Glad I went to see it in the theater. Something about it, the finality, an air of closure, makes me think this might have been Clint’s swan song. We’ll see.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

I will get out from under my rock and to the theatre for that one.

I got into the adventure story of Unforgiven, enjoyed the tragi-comedy of Gran Torino, even liked Trouble with the Curve but I could not get into the stupidity of this movie.

****** SPOILER ALERT ********

****** SPOILER ALERT ********

Come on, signing up to rebuild the VFW hall and then the skating rink?

Stopping on the side of the freeway and then being surprised at what's inside the bag?

Then being so good at being a mule that the cartel head wants to see you?

And then the DEA stopping the truck in the middle of the freeway with the chopper flying so low he can hear it in the truck? Why couldn't they have waited at the destination point and grabbed more than just him?

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Good film. Recommended. It has something to say about the importance of family, which is touching. I liked the way he deterred the drug sniffing dog. No harm. No foul.

We just left the theater. While I don’t think this is the best ‘Clint’ film ever, I enjoyed it. Sure, some things were a little corny, but the film was solid. I’ve watched most of his films a number of times and will watch this one again.

That’s a point I missed in my earlier post. Most movies we see have a crowd of under 12. We went to the 3:20 show and the theater was nearly full.

I agree 100% with this. My boys and I saw the movie last night and the I thought the previews were the best part of the movie. I gave it 4 out of 10 stars.

Great movie? No, not really, but it is Clint so still enjoyable.

Yes, suspend reality, that is kind of a given for movies. Not a fan of the ending, think it could have been much better.

When he went off the radar I would have had him stash the load and use it as leverage. Go to the Feds, turn it over rat out the cartel and go WitSec. - Happy ending

If I had to go see any of the other 8 movies , I am betting that I would enjoy this one the most,

good movie not close to an award winner , not a great movie.

any shmoe could have done Bradley's role .

no laughter, no tears, no happy feelings, no
bad feelings,

I could understand why some say its on the bland side.

I never did figure out where he was going from or too with the drugs.

I wish they would have had him different vehicles on the trips
